There are two traditional Holy Communion services each Sunday and a monthly Saturday evening alternative worship service. This is a full time, year round, permanent position. The primary responsibility of the Lay Parish Worker is Youth Ministry. This includes leading weekly youth group meetings, teaching the Senior High Sunday School class, coordinating the Confirmation program, assisting with Vacation Bible School, etc. Other duties may include coordinating a retirees' group, occasionally teaching a traditional adult Bible study, helping with special Advent and Lent events, assisting the pastor with visitation, and the like.
